Sharath S
Assistant Professor
With a Master of Laws in Technology Law from Presidency University, I bring a diverse legal background and a strong commitment to academic excellence to Soundarya College of Law. My career began in litigation, where I specialized in civil law, service law, and intellectual property law. Over the years, I have advised clients on complex legal matters, managed intellectual property registrations, conducted in-depth legal research, and represented clients in both trial and appellate courts. This hands-on experience has given me a robust understanding of legal practice and a keen insight into the challenges and nuances of different areas of law.
Transitioning to academia has allowed me to channel my passion for legal education and research in meaningful ways. I am deeply committed to preparing the next generation of legal professionals, equipping them not only with legal knowledge but with critical thinking and practical skills that will be essential in their future careers. At Soundarya College of Law, I aim to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can develop a strong foundation in legal theory and practice.
In addition to teaching, I am involved in research, particularly in the fields of technology law and intellectual property. I strive to contribute to the ever-evolving legal landscape through impactful research that addresses current issues, such as digital privacy and the legal challenges posed by new technologies. By integrating my research insights and practical experience into the classroom, I encourage students to think critically, approach legal problems creatively, and understand the law’s role in society.
