Mr. Balakrishna R. is an academic in the field of Sociology with extensive experience in teaching and mentoring students in the humanities. He completed his B.A. in Psychology, Sociology, and Economics from Christ College and earned his M.A. in Sociology with Distinction from Pondicherry University. He has also qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (November 2021) for Assistant Professorship, conducted by University of Mysore and accredited by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
With over 12 years of professional experience, Mr. Balakrishna has been actively involved in teaching, academic coordination, and research in sociology. His work includes training, recruitment, performance monitoring, and mentoring students and colleagues, fostering academic excellence and professional development.

He is currently associated with Soundarya College of Law (since January 1, 2026). Prior to this, he served in several reputed institutions including Shree Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain Independent PU College, St. Theresa PU College, BNM PU College, and BEEI PU College (Jalahalli).
As part of his academic contributions, Mr. Balakrishna has authored two books in the “Score More” series on Sociology for II PUC students, published by Skyward Publishers, Bangalore in 2019 and 2023, aimed at supporting students in strengthening their conceptual understanding and examination performance.
