Claudia Nadh is a seasoned legal professional with over 12 years of experience, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Soundarya College of Law. She holds a B.A.LL.B degree from Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College, Bangalore University, complemented by an MBL (Masters in Business Law) from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and an LL.M from University Law College, Bangalore University, specialising in Employment and Labour Law and emerging as a topper with a distinction in her specialisation from Bangalore University.
In recognition of her outstanding academic achievements in the field of Employment and labour law, Claudia Nadh was honoured with the Sri. B. R. Puttananjappa Memorial Award and the Prof. C. Shivashankar Award by Bangalore University.
She has also received the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal – Shikshak Sanmaan Award in recognition of her academic and social contributions to society.
Currently immersed in her Ph.D. journey at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru her research focuses on the ‘Legal Protection of Medicinal Plants’.
Having garnered experience in esteemed law firms and MNCs like Lawyers Inc, Amicorp Group, and Deutsche Bank as a corporate lawyer, Claudia Nadh has also shared her knowledge as a visiting faculty member at distinguished institutions such as I ZEE Business School, Alliance University, and Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies.
Alongside her corporate and academic roles, Claudia is an active contributor to legal scholarship. She has presented numerous papers at conferences, published articles in reputable legal journals, and conducted workshops on pertinent legal topics.
She has also rendered her service as an In-charge principal in Soundarya College of law for over a year. She has handled multiple responsibilites as Academic Co-ordinator, IQAC Co-ordinator, Students Council Cell, Student Scholarship Cell, Student Grievance Cell, Internship and Placement Cell, Sexual Harassment Cell, Alumni Association, Senior Supervisor – KSLU Examination, Editor of the College Newsletter – Kanoonu Patrike, Chief Mentor for the Mentorship Programme and much more.
Beyond academia, she has achieved distinction in Popular Vocals, passing the fourth-grade exams from the London College of Music, University of West London, and has been recognized as a High Achiever. She has also published several brevity poems.
Claudia’s multifaceted contributions, ranging from academic coordination to student welfare initiatives, reflect her unwavering dedication to the holistic development of both students and institutions alike.
